Confessions of a Superhero combines the romanticism of Hindi film music, the playful pathos of Tamil cinema, and the sound of 90s funk-pop wrapped in jazz orchestration. Inderveer Sodhi’s third studio album takes listeners into the heart of Maddenville, featuring Jason’s songs from the film of the same name—composed and performed within the world of his restaurant. Inderveer (who portrays Samar Khan in the film) provides the playback vocals for Jason, bringing the character’s musical voice to life.

Stripping away excess instrumentation in favour of a hyper-minimalist palette, Sodhi allows the album’s melodies to breathe across sparse arrangements—echoing the loneliness, longing, and emotional distance that define the film’s central characters.

Fizza lends her voice to Meera, capturing the longing and emotional vulnerability at the heart of her character. The LP also includes the film’s soulful and haunting score, built around layers of acoustic guitar arrangements by Moksh Amin.
